Duty manager, host responsibility and self-exclusion
- It goes to reservations, not to a queue. One person reads it and replies.
- Sent between 7am and 8pm: an answer the same day. Outside those hours: the next morning, and always inside one working day.
- A room enquiry comes back with a rate, a hold on the room and what the deposit would be.
- An event enquiry comes back with the room that fits, a hold on the date for ten days, and a price per head.
- There is no booking engine on this site and no card details are taken through it.
- Your details are used to answer the enquiry and nothing else. See the Privacy Statement.
How do I book a room?
Send the enquiry form on this site, phone reservations on +64 3 409 0628 between 7am and 8pm, or write to [email protected]. There is no booking engine here. A person reads every enquiry and answers with a rate and a hold on the room.
Who may enter The Earnslaw Room?
Guests and visitors aged 20 and over, with photo identification, every time. The rest of the hotel is open to all ages. Gaming happens on the premises only; there is nothing to play on this website.
Is parking available?
Yes. Thirty-four covered spaces under the building at NZ$26 a night, booked with the room. Coaches use the Athol Street bay, two minutes away.
What time can I check in?
From 3pm. Checkout is 11am, and 2pm for The Closeburn Suite. Bags are held at reception either side of those times at no charge.
Do you take dogs?
Assistance dogs anywhere in the hotel. Other dogs in Brecon Rooms only, NZ$45 a stay, told to us at the time of booking.
Is there a shuttle from the airport?
We book a car for NZ$68 each way, up to four passengers, with 24 hours’ notice. The public bus route 1 runs every fifteen minutes and stops on Stanley Street.
Tell us the dates, the number of guests and what the stay is for. Anything you write in the last box reaches the person who answers you.
