A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This site uses few of them and none that follow you to another site. Reviewed March 2026.
1. The choice you are given
On a first visit a notice appears at the foot of the page with three buttons: Accept all, Reject all and Cookie settings. Rejecting all leaves only the essential cookies in place and the site works normally. The button marked Cookies in the bottom corner of every page brings the notice back so that a choice can be changed or withdrawn.
Nothing beyond the essential cookies is set before you have chosen. There is no wall, no timer, and no reading of the page as consent.
2. What is set

3. What is not set
- No advertising network cookie, no retargeting pixel and no social plug-in.
- No fonts, scripts, maps or images loaded from another company’s servers. Everything on this site is served from wavepassage.com.
- No cookie that identifies you personally, and nothing that follows you off this site.
4. Server logs
Separately from cookies, the web server records the address of the request, the page asked for, the time and the browser type. Logs are kept for ninety days, are used to find faults and abuse, and are not joined to anything else. This happens whatever your cookie choice, because a server cannot answer a request without receiving it.
5. Changing your mind
Use the Cookies button in the bottom corner of any page. To clear everything, delete site data for wavepassage.com in your browser:
- Chrome and Edge. Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies, See all site data and permissions.
- Safari. Settings, Privacy, Manage website data.
- Firefox. Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Data.
Deleting the essential cookie means the notice appears again on your next visit, because the record of your choice was the thing you deleted.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
A browser sending a Do Not Track header or a Global Privacy Control signal is treated as having rejected analytics and marketing cookies. You do not have to use the notice as well, and the notice will not override the signal.
7. If you are using a shared device
A cookie choice belongs to the browser and not to a person. On a shared or public computer, delete site data when you have finished or use a private window, in which case nothing is kept once the window closes.
